Lantern Making Workshop

Our wonderful Streets By The Sea are full of colour and excitement. Whether you enjoy swimming in the sea, watching the summer fireworks, attending the Union Street Party, taking a boat trip, dancing, playing music, crafting, cooking, parkour, gardening or just walking in the park, come and celebrate our vibrant community activities by making your own willow lantern to take home and hang in your window, garden , yard or balcony.

Once the lanterns have been made, we hope to create a walking evening trail through our streets for others to follow together and admire the beautiful illuminated lanterns. No previous experience is necessary to take part in this workshop, just the willingness to have a go.
